-
REACTIVE DYE
Reactive dye features the fine grain of the dye to soak into the fabric and produces great color. It allows the fabric to keep its own texture even after the dying process, and is washable since the process works to react directly on positive ingredient of the fabric called cellulose. It is currently considered to be the strongest dye among the cotton dye methods.

PIGMENT DYE
Large pigment particles are fixed on fabric by adhesive agent called binder, and this process makes white “scratchy” feel on the fabric by friction. The surface color gradually fades by every wash, featuring the change towards tasteful color just like jeans. This is the most popular dye in GOOD ON that one can enjoy the change across the ages.

YARN DYE
The most commonly used method of dying in the yarn and weaving it to make the fabric. It offers excellent color fix and lasting color, preventing loss or fading color.

INDIGO DYE
Dye method for blue jeans by synthetic indigo, with artificially produced indigo’s primary ingredients. Like threne dye, it uses strong reducing agent in alkaline soak to dissolve dye molecular, then the fabric will be oxidized in the air to produce the color. Due to weak dye fixation, deeper color is gained by repeating the dye for 4 to 5 times. INDIGO SHAVE requires an additional process of special solvent, realizing scratchy feel and color fade just like a used denim.
